Wheat bread are seriously simple to make and you can cross many varieties of bread with whole wheat flour. While going through King Arthur Flours space, i got hooked to this simple, easy and definitely an excellent spongy bread.Trust me, this bread turned out extremely pect with a wonderful spongy texture and a pect crust. You can start your day with this healthy wheat bread simply with butter and you can also make a super filling sandwich with this wheat bread for lunch too.

Obviously this bread goes for simple ingredients, since i used honey as per the original recipe went for, this bread suits also for diabetic peoples. Obviously, we loved this super spongy wheat bread and enjoyed thoroughly making this simple wheat bread.Sending this classic wheat bread to my own event Healthy Diet-Cooking with Wholegrains.



3+1/2cups Whole wheat flour
2+1/2tsp Instant yeast
1/4cup Oil
1/4cup Honey
1cup Lukewarm water
1/4cup Milk powder
1tsp Salt

Take the flour,instant yeast,oil,honey,water,milk powder and salt in a large bowl and knead everything until the dough turns smooth and soft.

Transfer the dough to a greased bowl and cover it,leave aside for two hours until the dough doubles the volume.

Transfer the dough to a work surface and knead again to form a log, place the log into a greased loaf pan, cover the pan with lightly greased plastic wrap and allow the bread to rise again for an hour.

Preheat the oven to 350F, bake the bread for 35-40minutes.

Remove the bread from the oven, brush the crust with some butter for a soft crust.

Transfer it to a wire rack and cool it completely.

Slice it as you desire.
